Crèche Specifics
This crèche was opened in Limerick in 2001 and it has received and maintained its Excellence Ireland Quality Association standard for the last 3 years.
Its main objective are as follows:
- To offer each child a safe and happy environment in which they can thrive and excel under the guidance of our childcare team.
- To give piece of mind and support to the parent's in knowing their child is happy and safe while they go about their working day.
The services in this crèche are wide and varied and the children are looked after according to their age and in line with the Childcare Act.
The children are grouped as follows: Babies, Wobblers, Toddlers, Preschool, Montessori and Afterschool. We offer fulltime and part-time care to all children from the age of babies right through to after-school children. We have our own school bus complete with safety belts to drop the children to their national schools in the morning and collect them in the afternoon where they receive a hot meal and complete their homework.
We also offer extra circular activities such as Speech and Drama, Stretch and Grow classes and Gymboree.
All of the children's activities are recorded through out the day in the form of the C.CT.V. There is also an extensive array of paper work such as each child having their own personalised care plan recording each day and all accidents, medications are recorded also.
Busy kids believe in helping our team of staff to reach their full potential and they can do this by availing of our extensive in-house training such as First Aid, manual handling risk assessment and quality systems as well as availing of external training.
Busy kids take great pride in the achievements of their children and we recognise the effort that each child puts in; this is why all events are marked.
We have a wonderful graduation ceremony complete with cap and gown and certificate for our Montessori children going off to national school every June with a picture by a professional photographer. We also have regular open nights for parents looking to put their child into Montessori as well as celebrating all the major events such as Halloween, Easter, Christmas, birthdays and encourage the children to take part in charity events such as the Kellogg's breakfast morning, the ‘Toddle Waddle' and many more.
