Crèche Specifics
Opened in December 2003, this crèche is a beautiful one storey building located in Finnstown, Lucan. It has received its Excellence Ireland Quality Association award for 2004 and 2005 and won the overall EIQA national award in October 2006.
Its main objective are as follows:
- To offer each child a safe and happy environment in which they can thrive and excel under the guidance of our childcare team.
- To give piece of mind and support to the parent's in knowing their child is happy and safe while they go about their working day.
Here we offer a variety of services such as Babies, Wobblers, Toddlers, Preschool, two Montessori classes and a popular afterschool service where children are dropped to the school in the morning time and collected in the afternoon where they receive a hot meal and receive homework supervision.
We also offer Gymbroee and Stretch and Grow classes and the facility has two outside play areas .
All of the childrens activities are recorded through out the day via CCTV. There is also an extensive array of paper work such as each child having their own personalised care plan recording each day and all accidents, medications are recorded also.
Busy kids believe in helping our team of staff to reach their full potential and they can do this by availing of our extensive in-house training such as First Aid, manual handling risk assessment and quality systems as well as availing of external training.
Busy kids take great pride in the achievements of their children and we recognise the effort that each child puts in; this is why all events are marked.
We have a wonderful graduation ceremony complete with cap and gown and certificate for our Montessori children going off to national school every June with a picture by a professional photographer. We also have regular open nights for parents looking to put their child into Montessori as well as celebrating all the major events such as Halloween, Easter, Christmas, birthdays and encourage the children to take part in charity events such as the Kellogg's breakfast morning, the ‘Toddle Waddle' and many more.
