Sonas opens €12m Athlone Care Centre

Now, Sonas Healthcare is set to open its new purpose-built Care Centre at Cloghanboy, Athlone, which incorporates a 60-bed nursing home and 16 independent living units.
The nursing home is among the most modern in the country in the level of facilities offered and in the high specification of the building.
The design and lay-out of the facilities are in keeping with Health Service Executive guidelines. The Sonas Care Centre Athlone, which is subvented, caters for respite, convalescent, long-term care and daycare. A team of registered nurses and care assistants will provide twenty four hour nursing care.
The private and semi-private en-suite rooms are all comfortably furnished, with television, direct dial telephone, call system, self-adjustable heating. Ability equipment such as adjustable beds and chairs are provided.
